Details:

When using Root (for the Fermi Gamma Ray Space Telescope) to open a recon
file which has been deleted from disk and is only on tape it can take about
15 minutes for the file to be staged. During this time the user is given no
feedback as to what is going on. Since xrootd issues messages to the client
these should be printed on stdout to let the user know what is going on.

These could be optional, but I would suggest the default should be to print
them.

Tony
