Hello,

There was a major update to hps-java today. It now depends on lcsim 2.0-SNAPSHOT, which is a release that uses a new record loop library from FreeHep.

The primary consequence of this change is that the old JAS 0.8.x releases will no longer work with hps-java. You will need to update to the current distribution. A suitable JAS can be found here...

http://java.freehep.org/maven2/org/freehep/jas-assembly/0.9.4/jas-assembly-0.9.4-distribution.tar.gz

To use this, simply download and execute 'tar -zxvf' on the file. Then execute the 'jas3' script in the jas-assembly-0.9.4 directory.

For now, to use the JAS3 lcsim plugin, you will need to install the lcsim jar manually by building the project using Maven. This should be as simple as executing 'mvn install' on a checkout of the lcsim CVS module.

Please let me know if there are any questions with this or if you are unable to get a working configuration with the current hps-java CVS head. Sending messages to this list is fine, as others may have similar questions.
