Dear Guys, Sorry - I will not be able to make today's meeting because of a conflicting phone meeting of US ATLAS. Brief report: LHC working quite well and we now have about 5.5 fb-1 of 8 TeV data recorded. A decision has been made to include data of this week as well as next week for ICHEP so we hope to have 6 fb-1 for Higgs search. The data of this year (8 TeV) combined with last year (7 TeV) will make 11 fb-1 and that would make about 1/2 of what is considered needed for a definitive Higgs answer. The results are under strict wraps but we should have some interesting things to show for ICHEP. I know nothing of how CMS is doing as our last DOE/NSF biweekly was canceled. Will be traveling back to US this Saturday and will be in VA Beach next week - then back home. Have a good meeting - apologies again. -- Best regards, Frank Frank E.
