VERY basic info for SLAC email lists: Anyone should be able, by email, to subscribe to your list, unsubscribe, or get the list of subscribers: send email to: [log in to unmask] with the command in the body of the email: to subscribe: subscribe e.g. subscribe snowmass-top to unsubscribe: unsubscribe to get the list of subscribers: review -------------------------------------------------------- The list owner can add and delete subscribers by email: send email to: [log in to unmask] with the command in the body of the email: add * add delete for example add snowmass-hef [log in to unmask] * add snowmass-hef [log in to unmask] Michael Peskin The full_name should have two discrete words. Maybe using * consistently is easier. Multiple requests can be in the same email. There is a less simple way to add multiple names at once described in the users' manual. --------------------------------------------------------- Anyone can send mail to the list. The address is @slac.stanford.edu e.g. [log in to unmask] -------------------------------------------------------- All of the above is pretty simple. For more information, see: SLAC Listserv info page (may be stupidly password protected) List Users Manual http://www.lsoft.com/manuals/16.0/htmlhelp/list%20subscribers/coverpage.html List Owners Manual http://www.lsoft.com/manuals/16.0/htmlhelp/list%20owners/coverpage.html Finally, if there is anything you need that you cannot see how to do, I have a nifty web interface that I can use for any of the lists. To get this privilege for your list, you need a SLAC Windows ID (which I can get you if it is needed). ######################################################################## Use REPLY-ALL to reply to list To unsubscribe from the SNOWMASS-EF list, click the following link: https://listserv.slac.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=SNOWMASS-EF&A=1
