Update of bug #93388 (project xrootd): Open/Closed: Open => Closed Fixed by commit(s): => cd38a7d0 _______________________________________________________ Follow-up Comment #2: Actually, it may matter who computes the check sum. For instance, in HDFS file systems the check sum is maintained in an external database that a manager node could query and return the value. That aside, it really shouldn't matter whether a client directs the request to a manager node or a data server. Each knows how to handle it. The submitted patch addresses this problem. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.cern.ch/bugs/?93388> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by LCG Savannah http://savannah.cern.ch/ ######################################################################## Use REPLY-ALL to reply to list To unsubscribe from the XROOTD-DEV list, click the following link: https://listserv.slac.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=XROOTD-DEV&A=1
