Follow-up Comment #6, bug #98039 (project xrootd): One fast way to make sure that it's only the security that's causing the problem is to set your LD_LIBRARY_PATH to point to an earlier version of the security plug-in shared libraries. If that solves the problem, you can narrow it down by simply copying i the GSI plug-in into the newer version of the libraries and seeing what happens.
