Follow-up Comment #7, bug #98039 (project xrootd): 1. The change, if this is indeed the case, must have happened before August 26. I'll play a bit with this to see if I can narrow it down with bisection (need to figure out how to do this with git). 2. Compiler issue -- I don't think this could be it, I use the same compiler to build 3.2 and trunk. 3. Copying the libs 3a) Copying just libXrdSecgsi.so.2.0.0 gave this error: Plugin Unable to find required version information for XrdSecProtocolgsiObject in sec.protocol libXrdSecgsi.solibXrdSecgsi.so 3b) Copying libXrdSec* from 3.2 results in the same error as before: 121009 11:24:53 16565 Xrd: CheckErrorStatus: Server [nfs-5.t2.ucsd.edu] declared: Secgsi: ErrParseBuffer: unknown CA: cannot verify client credentials: kXGC_certreq(error code: 3010) 121009 11:24:53 16565 Xrd: DoAuthentication: Secgsi: ErrParseBuffer: unknown CA: cannot verify client credentials: kXGC_certreq I don't understand how 3b could fail in the same way ... what else could influence this? Some protocol exchange changes? _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.cern.ch/bugs/?98039> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by LCG Savannah http://savannah.cern.ch/ ######################################################################## Use REPLY-ALL to reply to list To unsubscribe from the XROOTD-DEV list, click the following link: https://listserv.slac.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=XROOTD-DEV&A=1
