Follow-up Comment #14, bug #97585 (project xrootd): Ok, this did not work at all. Let me explain what I did. I took the version straight from HEAD and compiled it into SRPM and then RPM, (links below). Both SL5 and SL6 builds work without GSI authentication, but then fail during startup when it is enabled using the options in the original submission. Errors from xrootd.log are listed below: SL5 (RPM: https://koji-hub.batlab.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=2552) 121011 11:46:57 7634 secgsi_InitOpts: Crypto modules: ssl 121011 11:46:57 7634 secgsi_InitOpts: Ciphers: aes-128-cbc:bf-cbc:des-ede3-cbc 121011 11:46:57 7634 secgsi_InitOpts: MDigests: sha1:md5 121011 11:46:57 7634 secgsi_InitOpts: *** ------------------------------------------------------------ *** 121011 11:46:57 7634 secgsi_LoadAuthzFun: problems executing 'XrdSecgsiAuthzInit()' (rc: -1) 121011 11:46:57 7634 secgsi_Init: Secgsi: ErrError: Authz plug-in could not be loaded: libXrdLcmaps.so Secgsi: ErrError: Authz plug-in could not be loaded: libXrdLcmaps.so SL6 (RPM: https://koji-hub.batlab.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=2553) [no errors, just crashes at the gsi line without a message] 121011 11:48:23 2982 secgsi_InitOpts: Ciphers: aes-128-cbc:bf-cbc:des-ede3-cbc 121011 11:48:23 2982 secgsi_InitOpts: MDigests: sha1:md5 121011 11:48:23 2982 secgsi_InitOpts: *** ------------------------------------------------------------ *** Let me know if you need more information or have additional suggestions.
