Follow-up Comment #2, bug #98102 (project xrootd): I'm not sure that has anything to do with XrdSysPlugin. It seems that you are running a debugging session while a dlopen() is being called. In the MacOS case, a SIGTRAP happens which could only be caused by the debugger setting the trap. In Solaris, the dlopen() simply fails because it's likely the debugger messed with the LD_LIBRARY_PATH. There appear to be known (bad) interactions between gdb (I assume you are using gdb) and dlopen calls on certain platforms. Try to see if this fails outside a debugging session. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.cern.ch/bugs/?98102> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by LCG Savannah http://savannah.cern.ch/ ######################################################################## Use REPLY-ALL to reply to list To unsubscribe from the XROOTD-DEV list, click the following link: https://listserv.slac.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=XROOTD-DEV&A=1
