Hi, I converted CMSSW to the new XrdCl, filing issues for problems big and small I found along the way: https://github.com/ljanyst/xrdclient/issues?state=open (Apologies for the deluge!) Basically, there are two functionality regressions compared to CMS's current Xrootd compile: (1) Direct invocation of the stage-in API. (2) Setting an identifier for the monitoring stream. Basic tests look fine, including multi-threaded prefetching. Unless something comes up, I plan to merge the new code in November.
