With the exception of GSI on SL6 (a known bug), xrootd 3.2.5 has passed my integration tests. I will promote it to the osg-testing repository, where it will go through the nightly tests as well. Unless anyone speaks up and says its needed, we will probably leave it in the testing repository instead of putting it in the next release.

Hi Doug,

Just to add to Wei's request and to confirm, yes, there will be standing interest from ATLAS for these integration tests for xrootd releases as they appear.

Regards,

Hi Doug,

I don't think this is urgent since as you said, the GSI but on RHEL6 is not fixed. I am merely talking about having this as part of the future release process.

I can go and put this version through our usual integration tests. This will probably happen later today or possibly Monday.

However, I haven't heard a lot of interest from the OSG community in this release yet. The main bug that I am aware of is the GSI SL6/openSSL 1.0 bug, which (please correct me if I am wrong) is not included in this release.

Rob (or others), is there interest from ATLAS or other stakeholders for the bugfixes in this release?

Can we ask OSG to test this before we make it available via YUM repository? The major problems in the last two releases were all caught by OSG.
