Follow-up Comment #2, bug #88357 (project xrootd):
Indeed, this has been somewhat embarrassing since this is really easy to do,
sigh. Sometimes one gets into a bad patch cycle and this is one of them.
However, the third time should be the charm. We now see what went wrong in
the last fix. Even so, we will provide an option for manual rotation (even if
it means misusing SIGHUP). You can still do manual rotation now; just specify
copytruncate for logrotate.
