Details:
I have implemented a checskum plugin for zlib-compatible checksums and was
unable to make it working.
I add to the config:
oss.ckslib zcrc32 /usr/lib/libXrcCksCalczcrc32.so
And in the client I get.
xrdfs srv1 query checksum /data/a048e67f-4397-4bb8-85eb-8d7e40d90763.dat
[2012-11-01 17:07:10 +0100][Error ][XRootD ] [srv1:1094] Handling
error while processing kXR_query (code: kXR_Qcksum, arg lenght: 47): [ERROR]
Error response.
[2012-11-01 17:07:10 +0100][Error ][App ] Unable run query
checksum /data/a048e67f-4397-4bb8-85eb-8d7e40d90763.dat: [ERROR] Server
responded with an error: [3013] query chksum is not supported
If I also add:
+varbatim+
xrootd.chksum zcrc32
then it refuses to start saying
121101 17:19:33 17343 XrootdConfig: zcrc32 checksum is not natively
supported.
