Follow-up Comment #11, bug #99858 (project xrootd):

Hi Andrea,

   xrootd doesn't know about LDAP at all. glibc does and it's likely somehow
messing things up.

   For granting user access, it should be sufficient to add the following to
the quator profile of the box:


# for user access
"/software/components/useraccess/users/ljanyst/acls" = list ("system-auth");


# for root access
"/software/components/useraccess" = add_root_access(list("ljanyst"));
