Follow-up Comment #1, bug #99858 (project xrootd):
Based on the stack trace, his doesn't appear to be a problem in the xrootd
client but in one of the C library calls to get the group list. Indeed, the
client attempts to determine (as documented in the call for getgrgid_r) the
appropriate size of the buffer. It seems that the C library is screwing
things up here.
