Hi,

I updated my slides with the number of stereo hits (attach it here as well) since there was some discussion on what we expect.

I did a little exercise to see what the geometrical acceptance (in the Test Run detector) was in the vertical direction to understand the difference in number of tracks with 4 or 5 hits. The overlap (vertically) between L1 and L4 compared to L1 and L5 is 45% vs 30%, so about a 30% loss for L5 tracks.

But it's of course more complicated to get the real expected nr as it depends on the number of particles per unit vertical angle (more at smaller angles), the horizontal hit position and in particular the momentum of the tracks.

The attached plot show this comparison as a function of track (beam line) momentum and the data/MC has he event selections as described in the intro. I think we were wrong saying that we only see few percent 5-hit tracks, looking again I see about 40% which matches a momentum spectrum around 0.7-0.8GeV.

Another note is that we should never see more than 45% of the tracks if we require a hit in L1 and L4.

/Pelle
