Update of bug #100623 (project xrootd):

                  Status: None => Ready to test
      Fixed by commit(s):                         => f92936bb

Follow-up Comment #3:

The CLI parser will now pass-through /dev/null as well as /dev/zero and mark
the protocol type as such. This seems to have made xrdcp and xrdcopy very
happy without any changes to them. However, both still require the '-f' flag
when copying to /dev/null as it already exists.

It would be trivial to turn on '-f' by default when the output is /dev/null
butt I didn't do that. What's the consensus, should I?
