Update of bug #100623 (project xrootd): Status: None => Ready to test Fixed by commit(s): => f92936bb _______________________________________________________ Follow-up Comment #3: The CLI parser will now pass-through /dev/null as well as /dev/zero and mark the protocol type as such. This seems to have made xrdcp and xrdcopy very happy without any changes to them. However, both still require the '-f' flag when copying to /dev/null as it already exists. It would be trivial to turn on '-f' by default when the output is /dev/null butt I didn't do that. What's the consensus, should I? _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.cern.ch/bugs/?100623> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by LCG Savannah http://savannah.cern.ch/ ######################################################################## Use REPLY-ALL to reply to list To unsubscribe from the XROOTD-DEV list, click the following link: https://listserv.slac.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=XROOTD-DEV&A=1
