Follow-up Comment #3, sr #136498 (project xrootd):
Can't see why this would have anything to do with federation - works for
non-Castor sites.
This part caught my eye:
"Unable to reqid/pfn2 is missing dummy"
I was guessing maybe the client dropped some argument the Castor disk server
expected?
Andrew, can you try an "xrdcp" of that file with, including
"?tried=gfe02.grid.hep.ph.ic.ac.uk", and add "-d 2" for extra debugging? It
should allow us to see what opaque info is given.
