Hi everyone! Yes, I would like to see a generic "xroot" module that could be imported and reused by whoever needs it, but considering that I know very little about xroot, I will need quite a bit of help on understanding what's needed and how the different parts fit together. I would thus like to create a git repo where we could all converge and contribute. I could start by implementing in a generic way the parts that I need for CASTOR (clients and plugin), but it would be great if you could keep an eye on it and perhaps add what will be missing.
