FYI, I created a branch called "next" for qserv, which Daniel and I are planning to use for integrating Daniel's new parser with my new metadata code. It is based on the tip of the master, which has been recently conveniently tagged (as 0.5.1rc1). Based on my limited testing, a subset of queries I tried all seemed to work fine, so it is a good start. Fabrice, Emmanuel, Serge, Douglas, please continue working with the "master" branch. The only change I'd like to bring to the "next" branch as soon as it is ready are the changes in the admin scripts that are dealing with the new metadata server. Fabrice/Emmanuel: once you have them, please push them to the "next", not the "master" branch.
