Emmanuel I am puzzled how you got yourself into that state. Clearly your database name is wrong. But I tried to reproduce that: I put in the qms log file a wrong db name: [qmsdb] db = testX.slac.stanford.edu and the system acted as designed: I wasn't able to start qserv, it complained about: No metadata found. and it the qms log I saw: 2013-04-26 22:57:57,076 DEBUG connected to mysql (socket) 2013-04-26 22:59:05,413 DEBUG Failed to select db 'qms_testX.slac.stanford.edu' 2013-04-26 22:59:05,413 ERROR Exception in listDbs: No metadata found. Can you send me your qms config file?
