To IN2P3 team: I tried to find more info about the Aug meeting, and asked Jeff, apparently there isn't much yet online, agenda in not there yet etc. Here is what I was able to find (dated 2/20). Let me know if you have any specific questions and I'll try to find the answers (Daniel mentioned below is a different Daniel :) thanks Jacek The overall organization and detailed agenda of the August Technical Meeting is still pending. At this point we are trying to establish the basic reservation with the Hotel so Daniel is looking for an approximate head count. The primary objective for the meeting will be to assemble the full LSST technical team for a project-wide face-to-face interaction. There will be a combination of plenary time and breakout time so that we can optimize the productivity of the gathering. I expect we will address system interfaces, project plans, the NSF Final Design and DOE CD reviews, and transitioning into full construction as some likely topics. We should focus on the cross subsystem topics but we can discuss ways for the subsystem teams to take advantage of the gathering for narrower topics as well. Attendance will focus on the “technical team”, that part of the collaboration working directly on deliverable components of the construction project. The full All Hands Meeting has been very productive but for cost reasons, and to allow a brutal focus on construction project related engineering activities we will limit the scope this year. LSST will be hosting a Technical Meeting August 12 – 16 in Tucson at the Omni Tucson National Resort(http://www.omnihotels.com/FindAHotel/TucsonNationalGolfResortAndSpa.aspx) <x-msg://71/(http:/www.omnihotels.com/FindAHotel/TucsonNationalGolfResortAndSpa.aspx)> Please send me by COB tomorrow (12/20/13) an approximate number of attendees from your subsystem who will require a room reservation. Arrivals should be planned on Monday, August 12^th with departure later in the afternoon on Friday, August 16^th . Tucson subsystems should send me _both_ a headcount for room reservations _and_ the number of “day visitors” so meals can be planned accordingly. Your prompt response is greatly appreciated. ######################################################################## Use REPLY-ALL to reply to list To unsubscribe from the QSERV-L list, click the following link: https://listserv.slac.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=QSERV-L&A=1
