Knowing user's VO could be tricky, at least for the way we setup authentication 
in USCMS: we're using GUMS and a user can use a simple proxy without VOMS 
extensions ... that's how I use it all the time :)

I'd also have to add support for per-VO destinations, but this isn't too hard.
