Soon the great Mangucci will return to the motherland and we will be without his profound wisdom on the pitch. We must therefore hold the competition of Old Farts v. Young Guns THIS COMING FRIDAY, May 31. Please respond to this missive that you will participate in both the game and the feast and mention your age that we might make a preliminary estimate of the teams.
It has been a very long time since this competition has been held. Witness the attached photos of the trophy which has resided at my house since the Great Goat Roast of 2012.
My son has returned the Jeep to home base and so I will bring to the field a grill and other supplies as well as some contribution to the feast.
