Sounds like you're not running the code you compiled. Have you verified that
the jar file your build produces gets copied into the Jas3 extensions
directory ?

Subject: weird behavior of hepRep converter

Tony & Dmitry,

Kyle and I have made much progress on translating the example
HepRepConverter into our display. We are encountering a problem that neither
of us understand.

Yesterday Kyle gutted out the whole section that produced the 100 random
hits. Compiled successfully. When he stepped through the data he still got
the random hits.

Today I finished replacing the cube with our real sensor geometry. Compile
successfully. When I stepped through the data I got a blue cube instead of a
hexagon array

I am very confused as to how wired is producing things that are not in the
code. This is obviously a referencing issue but I have no idea where to
look. please advise.
