Hi,
my plan was indeed to start a comprehensive and standard xroot module
but I still haven't had time to start.
When we discussed about it at the end of March there was basically
nothing, just quick hacks such as the one we're using currently in
CASTOR. I do agree that a concerted effort would be the way to go.
