I checked the classpath and it is just set to '.' but I don't know if jas3
has it's own classpath.

The above information refers to my debian machine. The same problem happens
on our HP with windows 7. I just installed JDK, jas3, and all plugins about
a week ago, on the HP, so all version, are most recent.
