Reminder about the lunch session today as announced below. NOTE: Gordon just informed me that the morning session has been extended by 15 minutes, which means we will be slightly more pressed for time. Please get your lunch quickly and come back to PAB (B building) 109. Consider planning your lunch strategy in advance. Gordon noted two other places for lunch. Here is his list (and the map is linked in my original email below): > H-bar – right next to coffee break area. Very limited selection (they may even run out). Sandwiches… And not fantastic tasting either. But *really* close. > 2. Vista Café – Across the street (we passed it about half way down to Agua Verdi). Has a pretty decent sandwich bar, and will make a hot mail to order for take-out (just ask). If you ask for a hot meal it will take about 10 minutes to prepare. > 3. Rotunda Café – large, industrial size café. Taco’s, pasta, etc. to order. > 4. Bagels – the above three places are on the maps we circulated. This one just occurred to me as I was biking in this morning. It is just off campus, located at ~1444 NE 40th street, has a large window open to the street, you can walk in and order a pretty good bagel sandwich.
