Hi! I was looking and xrootd report and monitor and i seen that there are xml based... Did anyone tried to make a ganglia (python) module for xrootd monitoring? Also (at first sight) it seems that the xrootd monitoring is another similar wheel like ganglia... what is the reason for that? Are there any python bindings that i could use for take data directly from xrootd to input in ganglia? (i am aware of the example from http://xrootd.slac.stanford.edu/doc/prod/xrd_monitoring.htm for taking out xml data from mpxstats and inject in ganglia but this implies gmetric spoofing; it would be nice if some kind of direct monitoring (API level) could be possible bypassing the .report and .monitor) Thank you!
