Hello Kyle,

In JAS3, select

Help -> Examples -> Java Examples -> HistogramArithmetic.java

This will show you how to perform the actions you need.

To scale a histogram simply invoke the scale() method, documented

at:

http://aida.freehep.org/doc/v3.3.0/api/hep/aida/IHistogram.html#scale(double)

Enjoy the weekend,

Norman

Subject: JAS3 AIDA Editor?

Hello,

I have been working with some plots lately and was wondering if there is an easy way to manipulate them with JAS3. Specifically, are there ways to apply normalizations such as a constant scaling factor to graphs or to combine several graphs together? I noticed that under the plot properties in JAS3, there is a "Normalization Settings" button, but it does not seem to selectable no matter what I do.

Thanks,

Kyle McCarty
