Dear Colleagues,
The US High Energy Physics Advisory Panel (HEPAP) met September 5-6, 2013.
This meeting was primarily devoted to the Community Summer Study
("Snowmass"), and summaries of the activities took up much of the first
day.
Of particular interest was the constitution of a new
Particle Physics Project
Prioritization Panel (P5).
The charge to P5 can be found at:
The composition of P5 can be found at:
Steve Ritz, chair of P5, outlined the plans and timeline for the panel in his
talk, available at:
He concluded with the following appeal to the community:
"Ask not what P5 can do for you;
ask what you can do for P5."
Sincerely,
Norman Graf
