Hi,You need a properly configured Java 1.7 compiler to build and run the software. On OSX, this can be a bit confusing. You may have installed Java 1.7 but the default system copy of Java 1.6 is still found by Maven. You should be able to setup the JAVA_HOME variable in your environment in order to fix this problem:export JAVA_HOME=$(/usr/libexec/java_home -v 1.7)On my Mac, this resolves to the following:/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/jdk1.7.0_09.jdk/Contents/HomeThe exact directory will depend on which JDK version you have installed. If you do not have Java 1.7 at all, then go here:Install the DMG file and then setup your environment as above…then it should work.—JeremyOn Dec 18, 2013, at 1:58 AM, Luca Colaneri <[log in to unmask]> wrote:Hi Jeremy,
I commented the lines as you suggested and the installation went through, but when testing the installation with the command suggested on the WIKI (by the way, the jar file is in the "target" folder under distribution) I get the errors you can see in the attached screenshot.
How can we fix it?
