Hi,

I am making a major change to hps-java today.

All of the user packages in hps-java have been moved to the following location:

svn://svn.freehep.org/hps/java/trunk/users

In the process, I discovered some dependencies of packages like recon.tracking on user code, so these have been removed by copying the relevant classes into appropriate hps-java packages.

You should not work at all on the user packages in hps-java anymore. Please switch to the new URL immediately.

The user classes will still accessible via the command-line lcsim tool, as this is built using the distribution module, which pulls in hps-java as well as users.

This change means that you will be unable to access the user packages from hps-java, and this was done on purpose to manage the package inter-dependencies. In other words, production code should not depend on user directories.

There are still some things I need to fix up related to the POM files, but you should be able to work on user code normally now. To run it from the command line, you will need to build the distribution module so that these classes get into the distribution's runnable bin jar.

Let me know if you have any questions.
