Hi, I'm sending this for Alja as she had to rush off teaching ... There seems to be something wrong with a recent change in XrdClMessageUtils.hh: https://github.com/xrootd/xrootd/blob/0d5bf498fc04628c08dc0549821a8cced9a505fb/src/XrdCl/XrdClMessageUtils.hh#L144 The proxy (that is using XrdCl via posix) does not manage to open a file at a remote server, here's the log: http://uaf-2.t2.ucsd.edu/~alja/ff.log Alja then simply commented out this line and it works ... should that 'if' be inverted?
