Hi, I got a question about making sure spaces are used instead of tabs in Eclipse... There are two basic settings to change to make sure spaces only are used. Under Window -> Preferences -> Editors -> Text Editors check the box for Insert spaces for tabs. And for Java projects, you need to set this for the code formatter on your Java project. Right click on the Java project, select "Enable project specific settings" and click New. Using the Java Conventions as the basis is fine. Just call it "My Java Conventions" or whatever. Then click the edit button for your new formatter, and under the Indentation tab, change Tab policy to Spaces only. Put the indentation and tab size to 4.
