Jacek, > I've been using several already, for testing purposes, e.g. > ~/.lsst.testLocal.my.cnf > ~/.lsst.testRemote.my.cnf That's different. I'm referring to what users will have to configure normally. Ideally, I'd like to say that if you already have connectivity to a MySQL server (via .my.cnf), you don't have to do anything extra to use the LSST Stack with it. LSST would not *require* that you have any LSST-specific configuration files at all. > I'll happily move them all to ~/.lsst/ I would like to avoid this if at all possible. This would be useful *only* if we end up requiring more than one LSST-specific configuration file. -- Kian-Tat Lim, LSST Data Management, [log in to unmask] ######################################################################## Use REPLY-ALL to reply to list To unsubscribe from the QSERV-L list, click the following link: https://listserv.slac.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=QSERV-L&A=1
