Hi,

 we would like to dynamically query the xrootd version that is installed
in our DPM clusters, and I noted that the "query version" command just
behaves like an echo, without answering with the version number. I tried with DPMs, EOS and plain xrootd servers, always the same. How can I get the version of the daemon?

 Here's a client trace of what happens:

root://lxfsra04a04.cern.ch:1094//> query 7 version
