Hello Gabriel, As you note, the use of weighted events is fully supported within the lcsim simulation and reconstruction chain. The input weights from the stdhep file are preserved in the event header and are propagated through the full chain of slic through to the LCIO output of hps-java. The one place where the use of weighted events usually breaks down is in the final users' analyses. People simply forget to fill their histograms with the appropriate event weight. As long as you don't forget that you should be good to go. It seems SLIC can handle such events but it also seems that people avoid to use them. Could anyone clarify the situation please ?Is there something specific to do to use weighted events compared to none weighted events ?
