Hello Jacek,

One more word about Ubuntu porting :

- i was in fact talking about Ubuntu 13.10
- Ubuntu 13.10 comes with next antlr version :
fjammes@clrinfoport09:~/src/qserv $ antlr --version
ANTLR Parser Generator Version 2.7.7 (20130428) 1989-2005

This version seems to work fine with Qserv, only a small hack is
required on the build system (link with /usr/lib/libantlr-pic.a instead
of /usr/lib/libantlr.a).
I introduced this one in tickets/3100, it is based on a technique used
by Daniel to link with boost system libs.

I agree with you, this porting should be a separate task (most of init.d
scripts still have to become lsb compliant)

Have a nice day,

Fabrice
