Fabrice et al., One of the comments I got was to keep mysql and mysqlclient packages separate. So I re-introduced mysqlclient, and made pythonmysql depend on it. The mysql package still builds both the client and the server, but that extra client build doesn't hurt (as long as the mysql versions are kept in sync). For qserv, I don't think it will be an issue -- just make sure that packages that depend on the server have a dependency on mysql, while those that depend on the client have a dependency on mysqlclient (and those that require both, should depend on both). PS: To make things consistent, what do you think about us renaming mysql package to mysqlserver? Cheers, -- Mario Juric, Data Mgmt.
