Dear Software group, I just committed a new geometry for HPS: HPS-Proposal2014-v8-*, where * is one of 1pt1, 2pt2 or 6pt6. The new geometry is based on the v7 geometry, with the addition of the new ECAL support structures computed by Holly. A picture generated by SLIC can be found at: http://nuclear.unh.edu/HPS/Images/Ecal_updated_slic.png (http://nuclear.unh.edu/HPS/Images/Ecal_updated_slic.pdf) For those of you studying the sampling fraction in the calorimeter, it will be very interesting to see if this geometry gives any measurably different results when comparing to the v7. Please also make note of any execution speed differences and report these back to the group.
