Dear SiD Colleagues,

There have been many recent developments on the ILC project in Japan,
ranging from high level discussions between the Japanese Science Ministry
and the U,S. Department of Energy to the establishment of a working
group to evaluate the most beneficial energy/luminosity running scenarios.

There will be a major regional ILC meeting at Fermilab, May 12-16, and the
long-anticipated results from the HEPAP P5 panel will soon be known.

To bring everyone interested in the ILC and SiD in particular, there will
be an SiD General Meeting on Monday, April 14, 2014 at 1000 US Central,
1700 CERN.

The purpose of the meeting is to update the wider SiD Community about News
and Developments around SiD and ILC. It is also a great opportunity for
interested people to learn about SiD.

Draft agenda items include:

   - Developments in Japan and interactions with the U.S. and Europe
   - Possible running scenarios in the first phase of the ILC
   - Site specific issues affacting SiD
   - Opportunity to ask the SiD Spokespersons questions

The draft agenda can be found here:

Connection details are posted there.

Hope to see you all there,

For SiD
Marcel and Andy
