Hello everyone,
I have now made and tested the new xrootd-4 packages and it looks
like we are almost ready to go. I will give some time to Mattias to look
at the xrootd4 rpms and I would like to tag and build xrootd4-rc1
tomorrow so that we could have the final release next week. I think
window that is this short in this case is OK, because we renamed the
packages and thus they need to be explicitly asked for (no automatic
surprise updates that mess things up).
On my list I still have:
1) SSS auth issue with IPv6
2) Server in C++11 mode (Andy, I will give you the testing
infrastructure to debug this tomorrow.)
Please let me know if I had forgotten something.
