Hi, Plans for Xrootd 4 in R5 were never really discussed. I do not expect big problems for TNextNGFile. For Proof is more complicated, because the new client is totally different, so we need a full port of the Proof client, which is in our todo list, but not scheduled yet. I will disable building of xproofd until for xrootd 4 until we have a solution.
