Hi Serge,

The install procedure is still in an active development process and this
may imply this kind of problem, sorry fot that. Furthermore, i would
need a ci tool (like jenkins) in order to get alerts on problems
produced by a code update, but now i have to run install and tests by
hand, for each branch and on both SL6 and Ubuntu, and it's not efficient
at all.

I've corrected the error on the distserver (i may have mixed by error
DM-612 and master input parameters during a previous distribution
operation). This seems to work now (but integration tests aren't
supported, if it doesn't work, please asks Andy S. who knows how to
retrieve the correct version of tests datasets, DM-365 should solve this).

An alpha prototype for the new packaging procedure seems to work but I
need to ask to Mario how to improve it (Indeed, it seems there's some
non-blocking issues).
You can try it if you want :

---
wget http://sw.lsstcorp.org/eupspkg/newinstall.sh
bash newinstall.sh

source loadLSST.sh

# i'm not sure next step is needed.
eups distrib install boost
setup boost

eups distrib install qserv -r
http://lsst-web.ncsa.illinois.edu/~fjammes/qserv
---

Your remarks on it may also help.

README-devel.txt has been updated w.r.t. Mario instructions, it also
seems to work if you want to integrate your own Qserv version in your
local eups stack.

Have a nice day,

Fabrice
