Anyone noticed the recon taking a lot longer recently? Last time I benchmarked it wasn't this slow... ________________________________________ From: Holly Vance [[log in to unmask]] Sent: Thursday, June 05, 2014 9:11 PM To: McCormick, Jeremy I. Could be overnight at this rate. Just wanted to let you know. On Thu, Jun 5, 2014 at 9:35 PM, Holly Vance <[log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>> wrote: Thanks. The problem I am finding is that some how in the common hit lists, it looks like there are both seeds in there (there should be two), but I think one is null. I don't know how this happened, but I will use this case to check if that works. That test case I indicated is the one that was failing the build, so it should help ... http://srs.slac.stanford.edu/hudson/job/hps-modules/380/console >> Event 1000 java.lang.NullPointerException at org.hps.recon.ecal.EcalClusterIC.createClusters(EcalClusterIC.java:444) at org.hps.recon.ecal.EcalClusterIC.process(EcalClusterIC.java:183) I think running that test will be a good way to check if your clusterer is working properly or at least not crashing on 10k+ events. It will also print out <nclusters/events> in the summary at the end so that will tell you if things are more or less in working order. --Jeremy -----Original Message----- From: Holly Vance [mailto:[log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>] Sent: Thursday, June 05, 2014 6:28 PM To: McCormick, Jeremy I. I have narrowed it down to where I redistribute the common hit energies between the two seeds (around 445). I believe this is the same place it is crashing from the MD. I am trying to figure out how to fix this permanently.
