Dear Colleagues,

We are inviting proposals for SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory's facilities for R&D and would welcome your company at the Proposal Review Meeting on September 15th, 16th & 17th, 2014.

Our beamlines at FACET, NLCTA, ASTA and ESTB encompass a broad range of beam parameters and support for research into advanced accelerator concepts, RF structures, beam diagnostics and the generation of high quality x-ray laser pulses. Though predominantly focused on accelerator R&D, we also welcome proposals in other areas of research that require the unique facilities we host. 

This is a call for new proposals for R&D at SLAC's user and test beam facilities. Proposals received by August 4th 2014 will be peer reviewed in September to receive beam time in FY2015 and FY2016. 

Please forward this announcement to colleagues that could be interested in FACET and our test beam facilities.  Information on how to subscribe to this mailing list is given at the end of the email.

Key dates:
Proposal submission for review in September by:  August 4th, 2014.
Proposal Review:  15th, 16th & 17th September, 2014 at SLAC.
 
The proposal review will be held in conjunction with a Users' Meeting which is an opportunity for current and future Users to discuss their science and needs. Details of this will be shared in a future announcement. Requests for specific discussions or talks should be directed to the User Manager, Christine Clarke ([log in to unmask]).
