Hi Brian,

Almost. Since cmsxrootd.fnal.gov is a composite then you should really 
say:

all.manager cmsxrootd.fnal.gov+:1213

Not doing so will give you grief, especialy since that is a round-robbin 
entry. You need to use all the addresses assigned to that name. I assume 
that xrootd.unl.edu as well as the other one are, in fact, the same 
cluster.
