I can fix this one, but there is plenty more, and they are unfixable. Ie.

xrootd/private/XrdOss/XrdOssApi.hh:277:6: error: ISO C++ 1998 does not support ‘long long’ [-Werror=long-long]

On the other hand, in C++11, the one you mention goes through, but there are couple others like:

xrootd/XrdCl/XrdClPlugInInterface.hh:414:2: error: extra ‘;’ [-Werror=pedantic]

I'd suggest not using pedantic mode.
