Hi Wei,

That's a bad option and one that should not have been needed in the 
default setup. Let's look this over. Something is wrong here. As for 
xrootd creating the wrong permissions, it doesn't and can't change 
ownership. So, it's definitely logrotate doing that. Maybe it's our 
particular version that's at fault. Let's sort this out. Copy truncate is 
just bad.
